Two Brazilians through to decisive round

Brazilian Júlio Silva beats Chilean Phillip Harboe 2-0 (6/4, 6/3) Saturday, to go through to the next round of qualifying. Silva entered the first stages as a bye and will go through to the next stage alongside Josh Goffi who, with his American-Brazilian nationality has enrolled in this tournament as a Brazilian.

Brazilians, Pedro Braga, Eduardo Frick, Bruno Soares and Alexandre Bonatto all lost their qualifying matches.

In the next round, Silva will face Australian Jordan Kerr, who knocked out American Thomas Blake, brother to tennis player James Blake, 6/1, 5/7, 6/2. Goffi will play Chilean Paul Capdeville.
